CONTEST RULES

1. Contest is open to any active professional bartenders working in the United States, the USVI or Canada.
2. Recipes must be submitted via the website between July 1-Sept. 15, 2009. Recipes must be submitted with a photo.
3. Recipes must contain either Cuca Fresca Premium Cachaça or Cuca Fresca Pura Gold, and are limited to five other reasonably accessible ingredients.
4. All recipes become the property of Cuca Fresca Exports, LLC upon submission.
5. Twenty semi-finalists will be announced on Oct. 15th and will be promoted on the Cuca Fresca website for a period of two weeks.
6. Four finalists will be selected by Cuca Fresca and will be announced on 11/1/09. A fifth “People's Choice” Finalist will also be announced on 11/1/09.
7. The “People's Choice” Finalist will be determined by the recipe that receives the highest number of votes through the Cuca Fresca website. To be eligible to be the “People's Choice” selection, the cocktail must be on the drink menu at the contestant's place of employment. Proof of inclusion on the drink menu should be provided at the time of submission. Votes can be cast from July 22-October 31, 2009.
8. Cuca Fresca will bring all five finalists to Chicago, IL for a live “Shake Off” to determine the Grand Prize Winner. This live competition will be held in November, 2009.

The Grand Prize Winner of the live "Shake Off" competition will receive airfare for (2) to Sao Paolo, Brazil, accommodations for four nights and a private distillery tour provided by Cuca Fresca.
